Do I need planning permission?
Many extensions fall under permitted development, but it depends on size, position and whether you are in a conservation area. We tell you which applies to your project at the first visit, and we handle the application if one is needed.
How long will the work take?
It depends on the size of the job and what we find once we open things up, so rather than quote you a figure that moves, we give you a written programme alongside the quote showing what happens in which week — and we tell you early if anything is going to shift.
How do you price a job?
A fixed, itemised price based on a full site survey and your drawings. Anything genuinely unknowable until we open up — drainage, for instance — is flagged as a clear provisional sum rather than buried in the total.
When do I pay?
Staged payments tied to completed work, agreed in writing before we start. We never ask for the full amount up front.
Are you insured and guaranteed?
Yes. We carry public liability insurance and all work is covered by a ten-year workmanship guarantee. Certificates and warranties go into your handover pack.
Which areas do you cover?
Surrey and the surrounding boroughs. If you are just outside, ask anyway — we travel for the right project.
